Re: How you create no karma?

EMPTINESS is where the void and existence meets. I have said this before. In emptiness there is nothing to think. Once you understand emptiness you see that there is nothing but nothing to think in this world. Today I understand emptiness. So, the karma could totaly be a lie? ...just wanted to shar...

Can you comprehend what i mean when i say effortless?
Probably not. Could you say more about it?
is my practice.

There is no effort or struggle there in the mind.I think we should all find that mind and practice it.

The (real) way is effortless.
Well, you certainly can speak with authority here.
I mean the practice by 'the real way'.

So, don't take offence.

Indeed!

"Ordinary' and 'effortless' are the most misunderstood words in online Zen.
Would it be right when we understand both - the ordinary and effortless the same?

Even in a lay student setting, right effort, etc., might come into self-questioning. The (real) way is effortless. They say it for the mastery but this is in force with the practice. All we need to learn is this effortless mind. Then we will be learn the practice. What's left there will be to keep th...

Re: What is Zen?

"Zen" is a Japanese word that is a contraction. In Sanskrit, fully, this word is "Dhyana" and in Pali "jhana" but the Tathaghata spoke neither of these languages, only his own local Prakrit dialect. We still get the gist of it. Yeah, there's the Flower Sermon, but there's also Bodhidharma sitting 9...

Re: What is Zen?

You are looking for philosophy, I have none. Not at all. My questions were plainly about practice. Simple answer: could be "daily zazen", "following white", or even "none". You didn't answer, and you certainly shouldn't feel you are required to. Whoever try to live without practicing (zen) is disab...

It's a good time to start practicing, and only practicing!
What practice would that be?

Is it a practice you yourself are doing now? (Or maybe tomorrow? :P )

P.S. I'm pretty sure your practice of Following White is not going to catch on here!
